ENTERTAINING THE KIDS AT HOME

 

As we are sure you have heard through the media, schools will not be open as normal until at least the 22 May.  The Queensland Government has decided that, in order to reinforce social distancing across the community and slow the spread of COVID-19 students will move to a home-based learning model from 20th April 20202 until atleast 22 May 2020 (Weeks 1 to 5 of Term 2). There will be exceptions for some students who will continue to be able to attend school: those whose parents or carers work in essential roles and must attend their workplace and cannot access alternative car or students identified as vulnerable.

For the kids who wil be home-based learning keeping them entertained whilst still learning can become difficult, especially for the ones in lower primary.  Many zoos and animal facilities have come on board and are running animals demonstrations online.  Below are some:
