The latest weekly data on search activity of properties for sale on realestate.com.au shows search activity for properties for sale has increased nationally by a further 4% this week, and currently sits 38% above the same time last year, suggesting Australian’s passion for property remains. Property searches are now 56% up on the low experienced in mid-March.
Similarly, rental property searches also continue to climb from the COVID-19 low, with activity 18% above the same time last year and 55% up on mid-March. All states and territories recorded weekly and year-on-year increases in rental search activity.
Consumer engagement with digital tools on realestate.com.au remains strong, with digital inspection video views up 138% on early March.
